We currently offer Bibles in KJV (King James Version), WEB (World English Version), ASV (American Standard Version) and RVR (Reina Valera 1909). Check our product pages for current availability.

Our Bibles feature a durable spiral binding that allows them to lay completely flat on any surface. This eliminates the struggle of holding pages open, making note-taking and extended reading much more comfortable.

We print on premium bright white paper that is noticeably thicker than the thin paper in most Bibles. The extra thickness gives you a smooth writing surface and far less ghosting, the faint shadow of writing you sometimes see through thin Bible pages. Everyday pens will not bleed through. Like any book paper, it has its limits: permanent markers such as Sharpies and alcohol-based art markers can soak through and are best avoided.

Ballpoint pens, gel pens, and fine-tip journaling pens all write cleanly on our paper. Pigment fineliners like Pigma Micron pens are a favorite in the Bible journaling community and will not bleed. Colored pencils are a safe choice for shading and coloring. For highlighting, use gel or dry highlighters made for Bible study. Avoid permanent markers like Sharpies and alcohol-based art markers, which can soak through. If you are unsure about a new pen, test it on a blank page in the back first.

Yes! Our Bibles include generous margins on each page specifically designed for notes, reflections, and personal study. The lay-flat design makes writing in these margins easy and comfortable.

All Lay Flat Bibles are proudly made in the USA, specifically in Hemet, California. We take pride in American craftsmanship and quality control.
